Auditor – Medicaid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize intermediate-level expertise to address common business challenges.

• Tackle moderately complex problems and contribute analysis along with limited project direction.

• Conduct audits of cost reports and claims submissions.

• Execute focused ad-hoc audits.

• Recognize inherent and residual risks while performing risk-based audits.

• Gain insights into audited functions and pinpoint findings and enhancements using business acumen, analytical abilities, and experience.

• Deliver continuous progress reports and updates regarding audit findings.

• Engage in various projects and audits.

• Offer research and data analysis for moderately complex initiatives.

• Keep informed about the latest developments in auditing.

• Assess unique situations and provide recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years with a BS/BA; or 6 years of experience with a HS Diploma/equivalent.

• Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing.

• Intermediate comprehension of internal audit policies and operational principles.

• Intermediate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid or healthcare auditing and associated revenue cycles.

• Intermediate skills in risk assessment and project scoping.

• Strong research and analytical capabilities.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, with an intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• A degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.

• Intermediate financial acumen and business insight.

• Basic project management skills are required.
