This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the development of new business across the U.S. and North American markets.
• Manage and expand existing strategic customer accounts.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new public-sector opportunities.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from prospecting and relationship building to contract award.
• Establish connections with municipalities, government agencies, transportation authorities, and other public-sector clients.
• Formulate account and territory strategies to enhance market penetration and revenue.
• Handle complex sales that involve procurement, technical stakeholders, senior decision-makers, and various influencers.
• Develop and nurture relationships with channel partners, integrators, distributors, and strategic allies.
• Lead pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, proposals, and contract deliberations.
• Keep track of market trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Ensure accurate pipeline management, forecasts, and sales activity reporting.
• Collaborate with international sales, technical, product, and leadership teams.
• Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Proven experience in B2B/B2G sales within the public sector.
• Demonstrated success in both new business development and account management.
• Experience in selling complex technology, infrastructure, or integrated solutions.
• Strong knowledge of government/public-sector procurement and sales processes.
• Proven ability to manage lengthy, intricate sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in building relationships with government agencies, municipalities, transportation authorities, or similar organizations.
• Strong history of developing new territories, accounts, or revenue streams.
• Experience in negotiating and closing high-value contracts.
• Ability to establish and maintain senior-level customer relationships.
• Strong skills in presentation, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote individual contributor role.
• Willingness to travel across North America as needed.
• Preferred experience with traffic safety or road safety technology.
• Preferred background in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
• Preferred experience in automated traffic enforcement technology.
• Preferred background in public safety technology.
• Preferred experience working with system integrators, distributors, resellers, or strategic partners.
• Existing relationships in transportation agencies, municipalities, law enforcement, or related public-sector organizations are preferred.
• 20% bonus.
