Nomadic Mission Operator – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Operate test vehicles across various states during multi-day missions, gathering data and ensuring its transfer to Latitude.

• Conduct daily startup, system engagement/disengagement, and shutdown processes for development vehicles.

• Observe and troubleshoot software and hardware systems while traveling.

• Carry out data collection in line with safety and compliance standards.

• Keep precise records of system performance and data collection results.

• Represent Latitude in a professional manner while driving in public areas, prioritizing the safety of all road users.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of two years of work experience required; an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and the ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record standards.

• Active passport or passport card.

• Must pass a ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks prior to employment and periodically thereafter.

• Comfortable with extended hours of driving and working closely with others.

• Strong enthusiasm for technology, with the ability to adapt swiftly to new challenges and changes.

• Technical skills with computers, including typing, checking network connectivity, and navigating web-based applications.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for software and hardware.

• Capable of collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

• Dependability and accountability.

• Eagerness to learn about new technologies.

• Preferred experience in technical driving, fleet operations, or vehicle testing.

• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and data logging tools is preferred.

• Experience with Jira, Slack, Driver Schedule, or similar workflow management tools is preferred.
