Nomadic Mission Operator – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Operate test vehicles across various states, gathering data during extended missions and ensuring data is transferred to Latitude.

• Adhere to a 6-day workweek, totaling up to 60 hours, with a schedule of three weeks on followed by one week off.

• Conduct daily startup, system engagement/disengagement, and shutdown protocols for development vehicles.

• Observe and troubleshoot both software and hardware systems while traveling.

• Carry out data collection in alignment with safety and compliance standards.

• Keep comprehensive records of system performance and data collection outcomes.

• Represent the organization with professionalism while driving in public spaces, prioritizing the safety of all road users.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of two years of work experience is required.

• An Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence and the ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record criteria.

• An active passport or passport card is necessary.

• Must be able to pass a ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks prior to employment and periodically thereafter.

• Must be comfortable with long hours of driving and working in close quarters with others.

• Proficient in using computers, including typing, checking network connections, and navigating web-based applications.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for addressing software and hardware issues are required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

• Prior experience in technical driving, fleet operations, or vehicle testing is preferred.

• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and data logging tools is advantageous.

• Experience with Jira, Slack, Driver Schedule, or similar work management tools is preferred.
