📋 Description

• Observe women’s soccer/football via live matches or highlight reels.

• Collaborate with the team to compose newsletters in various formats.

• Select significant moments and updates in women's football for inclusion in the newsletter.

• Verify the accuracy of newsletter content and statistics through fact-checking.

• Engage in editorial brainstorming sessions and team meetings, proposing coverage ideas.

• Achieve or surpass deadlines while advancing the newsletter's calendar, frequency, and format.

• Collaborate with social media and marketing teams for cross-promotion and comprehensive content initiatives.

• Create and schedule newsletter distributions using the publishing platform.

• Write match previews and summaries.

• Keep track of prominent American and European leagues along with social media cultural discussions.

• Work together with the editor, newsletter director, and the broader TWG team while complying with brand standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional writing experience.

• Extensive interest in and knowledge of women’s football.

• A solid understanding of newsletters: what is effective, what isn’t, and the reasons behind it.

• Passion for pop culture and its intersections with sports.

• Outstanding creative writing and editorial abilities.

• Capability to write content that aligns with TWG’s brand standards and tone of voice.

• Willingness to work on weekends as necessary.

• Enthusiasm for engaging with the TWG community and representing the brand to our expanding newsletter audience.
