Grant Writer, Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Create engaging grant proposals that promote Adena Health's strategic goals and community health projects.

• Assist in the complete grant development process, from discovering and evaluating opportunities to drafting and submitting proposals.

• Manage post-award reporting requirements.

• Gather content from team members across various departments.

• Transform project ideas into viable funding proposals.

• Collaborate internally with finance and program staff, as well as externally with partners.

• Report directly to the Manager of Sponsored Programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's Degree is required.

• Completion of de-escalation training within six months.

• An Associate's Degree coupled with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Non-Profit Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Certification as a Grants Professional (GPC) is preferred.

• A Bachelor's Degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Excellent writing skills are essential.

• Capability to identify and align grant opportunities with the organization's priorities.

• Proficiency in framing programs and data in a compelling manner for funders.

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments with finance, program staff, and external partners.
