This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Monitor bid portals, procurement announcements, and associated signals for relevant RFPs, RFIs, and bids.
• Conduct go/no-go discussions with leadership, evaluating fit, competitive landscape, timeline, and win probability.
• Log and manage incoming opportunities, especially during the spring K-12 budget cycle.
• Develop timelines and compliance matrices for responses.
• Create, edit, and compile narrative content, pricing exhibits, staffing plans, and necessary forms.
• Facilitate technical, pricing, and legal reviews through internal approval processes.
• Oversee final formatting, proofreading, and submission of proposals.
• Collaborate with account executives to grasp district needs, challenges, and competitive context.
• Coordinate operational and technical contributions from product, regional operations, and customer success teams.
• Work with legal on terms, insurance certificates, and contract exceptions.
• Collaborate with finance on pricing structures and profit margins.
• Cultivate current knowledge of the marketplace model, service offerings, pricing, geographic coverage, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain the proposal content library, encompassing boilerplate, templates, past performance, bios, and differentiators.
• Monitor win/loss outcomes and conduct debriefs on losses to refine messaging and address recurring issues.
• Enhance templates, style guides, and reusable content.
• Suggest process improvements as bid volume increases.
• Independently manage the intake-to-submission process for standard RFPs, escalating complex or unusually large bids as necessary.
• Build relationships with sales, product, and operations stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements that reduce turnaround time or enhance win rates.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• 2-4 years of experience in writing or coordinating proposals, RFP responses, or grant applications, preferably in a B2B services, staffing, ed-tech, or public-sector-facing setting.
• Comfortable managing a proposal from start to finish under tight deadlines.
• Strong project management skills, capable of maintaining a timeline and keeping cross-functional contributors aligned.
• Excellent writing, editing, and synthesis abilities; adept at translating technical and operational details into clear, persuasive narratives.
• Experience or demonstrated aptitude in coordinating input from sales, legal, finance, and operations teams.
• Familiarity with public-sector or K-12 procurement processes is advantageous, including RFP portals, compliance requirements, and scoring rubrics.
• APMP certification or interest in pursuing one is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
