New Media Manager, Social and Community Growth

📋 Description

• Formulate a growth strategy for each emerging platform, including YouTube, TikTok, Fomo, and others in the future.

• Design recurring formats that enhance subscription growth.

• Assemble a roster of on-camera talent comprising founders, builders, and creators.

• Strategize and produce content related to Breakpoint, Accelerate, and Hacker Houses.

• Create regional and non-English formats tailored for existing audiences.

• Quickly adapt content when timely responses are crucial.

• Convert audience insights into actionable feedback for the broader team.

• Collaborate with the Social Lead to incorporate new-platform content into key campaigns and launches.

• Oversee editors and contractors to ensure a consistent workflow while adhering to budget constraints.

• Generate content that passes legal review while maintaining its edge.

• Focus on retention, subscriptions, and participation as key indicators of success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully expanding a YouTube channel or a similar long-form video platform, with quantifiable results that can be articulated.

• Proficient in hands-on production: capable of transforming an idea into a published video without relying on an agency.

• Deep understanding of crypto culture and fluency in its nuances.

• Strong intuition for content formats and an understanding of varying video performance metrics.

• Comfortable appearing on camera, or have a clear plan for who will.

• Ability to represent an organization rather than a personal brand while avoiding a corporate feel.

• Proficient with AI tools for scripting, editing, thumbnail development, localization, and performance metrics analysis.

• Bonus: Experience in building your own audience.

• Bonus: Editing skills in Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, or similar software.
