
Neurovascular Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive the sales of neurovascular products and enhance customer satisfaction within the designated territory.
• Collaborate daily with the Vice President of Sales and the Regional Sales Manager to guarantee exceptional customer service and product utilization.
• Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Cultivate relationships with current hospitals, labs, customers, physicians, lab staff, supervisors, and purchasing agents.
• Identify and convert potential customers and/or users into Penumbra clients.
• Secure and renew orders by managing product availability, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
• Engage with current and prospective customers regarding programs, promotions, and pricing trends.
• Enhance account penetration by introducing new and existing product and service orders.
• Complete special projects and assignments as assigned.
• Stay informed about Penumbra products, services, competitive advancements, sales promotions, catalogs, and advertising.
• Provide corporate input on market reception, customer issues, and concerns.
• Participate in designated industry trade shows and handle follow-up, orders, issues, leads, and correspondence.
• Keep accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and field sales reports.
• Comply with the Company’s Quality Management System and relevant quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Ensure that team members adhere to applicable quality systems, regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5+ years of experience in medical sales, including a minimum of 3+ years in medical device sales; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A background in sales or marketing is preferred.
• Strong clinical, technical, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to operate in a fast-paced, demanding, and competitive environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must reside within the assigned region while holding this position.
• Willingness to travel as needed, with business travel up to 50%.
• Ability to carry 7–9 pounds of lead for extended durations.
• Occasional on-call availability required, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
• Capability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency in using a computer and the ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Required vision capabilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
