This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee a designated geographic area and promote the growth of Neurocrine products.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with physicians and other clients within targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands along with their approved indications.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders about product advantages.
• Foster product acceptance and growth through targeted educational efforts and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Manage promotional resources and budget effectively.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical personnel, opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate closely with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area, including over 3 years in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, Psychology, or Neurology sales experience preferred.
• Master's degree in science or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of best practices within the functional discipline and related business concepts.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving launch success in complex settings.
• Strong computer skills along with a working knowledge of business systems.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, and business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong sales and account management orientation.
• Capability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care sites.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.

• Must reside within the assigned geographic territory.
