Neurology Care Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct clinical care to patients suffering from neurological disorders, memory issues, and/or dementia using telehealth services.

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations.

• Create individualized care plans.

• Oversee ongoing treatment in partnership with supervising physicians.

• Collaborate with neurologists and the entire care team to guarantee seamless continuity of care.

• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment strategies, and the progression of diseases.

• Ensure accurate and prompt clinical documentation in the EMR, adhering to regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Maine and hold a valid license in the state.

• An active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Maine is required.

• Certification in geriatrics, adult-gerontology, or family practice is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in neurology, memory care, and/or dementia care settings is necessary.

• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills are essential.

• Capable of independently managing a full patient panel with physician collaboration.

• Excellent communication abilities when interacting with patients experiencing cognitive decline and their caregivers.
