This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with transportation providers.

• Align provider objectives with SafeRide’s performance standards and expansion strategy.

• Enhance provider performance through scorecard assessments, SLA oversight, and ongoing feedback mechanisms.

• Collaborate with providers to broaden geographic reach while maximizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

• Work alongside the Complaints & Grievances teams to execute corrective measures and boost provider performance.

• Oversee vendor activities to ensure compliance, including the prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse.

• Act as the main escalation contact for ride-related issues and facilitate prompt resolutions with internal teams.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Network Specialists.

• Partner across departments to synchronize network capabilities with business requirements and operational strategies.

• Assist providers in integrating SafeRide’s technology and operational protocols to enhance efficiency and service delivery.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in vendor management with a proven track record of establishing and sustaining robust external relationships.

• Proven experience in influencing stakeholders and achieving performance results through collaboration and accountability.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively presenting, influencing, and addressing challenges.

• Experience in monitoring and managing performance metrics, such as SLAs, scorecards, and KPIs.

• Ability to think strategically, foresee challenges, and align actions with overarching organizational goals.

• Experience in negotiating with external partners to resolve issues and achieve mutually beneficial results.

• Competence in managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for provider meetings and relationship management.

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare, health plans, Medicaid/Medicare, or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) is preferred.

• Experience collaborating across multiple internal teams is preferred.

• Prior experience in people management, including direct oversight of employees, is preferred.

• Familiarity with provider networks, logistics, or service delivery operations is preferred.
