This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Build and maintain relationships with network providers while promoting open communication and collaboration.
• Evaluate the performance and quality metrics of network providers through consistent assessments and audits.
• Handle and resolve advanced issues and concerns that network providers may present.
• Partner with network contracting teams to negotiate and establish contractual agreements.
• Create tactical and operational strategies aimed at expanding and improving the network.
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify and onboard new providers in key strategic areas.
• Monitor and assess provider demographics and network adequacy indicators.
• Provide recommendations to enhance network effectiveness and efficiency.
• Work in tandem with finance, operations, customer service, and other cross-functional teams.
• Conduct regular meetings with network providers to evaluate performance metrics and address any concerns.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and market changes, sharing relevant information with internal stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing healthcare provider relationships, including work with individual providers and complex health systems or provider groups.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Capability to assess information, identify root causes, develop solutions, and make prompt decisions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions while fostering productive working relationships.
• Skill in planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple tasks concurrently while adhering to deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas, filters, sorting, and pivot tables for organizing, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• A growth mindset and adaptability, including the ability to adjust to changing priorities, incorporate feedback, learn new processes, and support others' development.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Current residence in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, or a neighboring state.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred; specialized training or relevant professional qualifications are acceptable.
