Network Monitoring Engineer – SolarWinds, Meraki

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provides support for Network Operations in small to medium-sized projects.

• Collaborates with Network Operations team members to understand client and business requirements, translating them into business, application, system, technical, and operational specifications.

• Develops system specifications, including process flows and use cases.

• Assesses the impact of requirements on existing applications and databases.

• Partners with technical colleagues to ensure that all requirements are incorporated into the solution design.

• Coordinates the testing of new features and bug fixes, creating test cases and plans, and executing user acceptance testing.

• Works alongside development teams to execute implementations and enhancements with minimal disruption to clients.

• Conducts troubleshooting for both technical and business processes.

• Engages in peer reviews of solution design documentation.

• Evaluates vendor documentation to verify if vendor solutions align with company requirements.

• Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedures or cross-functional methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree along with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Capability to provide Network Operations support for small to medium-sized projects.

• Proficiency in interpreting client and business needs and transforming them into business, application, system, technical, and operational specifications.

• Experience in developing system specifications, including process flows and use cases.

• Ability to assess the impact on existing applications and databases based on requirements.

• Skill in collaborating with technical colleagues on solution design.

• Experience in coordinating testing of new features and bug fixes, including the development of test cases and plans, and conducting user acceptance testing.

• Experience working with development teams to finalize implementations and enhancements.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for technical and business processes.

• Experience participating in peer reviews of solution design documentation.

• Ability to evaluate vendor documentation against company requirements.

• Proficient in identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in analytical procedures or cross-functional methodologies.
