This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Lead and engage in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of network hardware, software, communication links, and routing protocols.
• Strategize, design, and develop LANs, WANs, VPNs, and network security solutions, which include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network access control.
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot complex network hardware and software issues.
• Connect, operate, and oversee network systems.
• Collaborate closely with data center, operations, and technical teams.
• Design, produce, and maintain comprehensive physical and logical network documentation that includes VLANs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
• Enhance network and telecommunications options for remote communications.
• Create and refine internal network and infrastructure processes.
• Provide assistance to Level I and Level II engineers with intricate connectivity challenges.
• Guide or support other engineers during communications hardware installations.
• Offer support for significant equipment repairs as necessary.
• Consistently deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A decade of experience in the networking field.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is mandatory.
• Fortinet certifications are preferred.
• Cisco Meraki certifications are preferred.
• A+ certification is preferred.
• OEM equipment certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with ASTEA is preferred.
• Advanced skills in network troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
• Strong written communication and network documentation abilities.
• Capability to convey advanced technical concepts to leaders, customers, and other engineers.
