Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute software upgrades throughout the Arista network to address security vulnerabilities.

• Support network initiatives across the organization, which include network refreshes, deploying new technologies, Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting, SDWAN implementations, Cisco DNAC (Catalyst Center) deployments, and updating network documentation.

• Collaborate with internal customers to gather requirements and develop technical solutions aimed at enhancing productivity and services.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Operate both independently and as a collaborative member of the Global Network team.

• Maintain typical work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional out-of-hours work as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Arista products (Spine and Leaf architecture) in an enterprise setting, including CloudVision.

• Over 5 years of experience with Layer 2 Switching protocols.

• More than 5 years of experience with Layer 3 Routing protocols.

• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, and VRRP in an enterprise-grade environment.

• Strong expertise in Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with various networking vendors, including Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper, and Arista.

• Willingness to work outside regular hours as required by clients, including evenings and weekends.

• Experience in generating Bill of Materials and transforming designs into implementations.

• Arista Certifications are a plus.

• Networking Certifications, such as CCNP, are advantageous.

• Experience in global enterprise environments is preferred.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.
