Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive support for customers, emphasizing SDWAN, ideally with Versa Networks, as well as Internet and associated services.

• Diagnose and set up basic LAN configurations, including routers and firewalls, along with Microsoft operating systems.

• Assist in the provisioning and onboarding process for new clients utilizing managed services.

• Work alongside vendors to resolve support challenges and ensure seamless service provision.

• Take ownership of support issues from initiation to resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and proficient problem-solving.

• Foster excellent customer relationships by providing exceptional support and going above and beyond.

• Guide and educate fellow engineers on intricate technical matters and solutions.

• Oversee and troubleshoot SDWAN networks, business data circuits, VoIP services, VPNs, managed routers, firewalls, and other tailored managed services.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• 3-5 years of pertinent experience in a dynamic technical environment, showcasing proficiency in SDWAN, especially Versa Networks.

• CCNA and CCNP certifications are highly preferred.

• Experience with command line networking tools (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper).

• Strong expertise in firewall configurations (e.g., Fortinet).

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with BGP, OSPF, and VRRP.

• Practical understanding of basic routers, firewalls, and NAT (Network Address Translation).

• Familiarity with COS/QOS and network design principles.

• Awareness of SOC 2 compliance and related processes.

• No travel to customer sites is necessary.
