This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in architecture and design assessments across infrastructure, platform engineering, and integration projects.
• Provide technical analysis, identify potential risks, and assist in the implementation of approved architectural patterns.
• Create, maintain, and enhance infrastructure-as-code modules and templates utilizing Terraform, networking standards, and multi-account architectures.
• Implement and manage on-premises and multi-region cloud networking frameworks, including Transit Gateway, centralized inspection VPC models, multi-account VPC configurations, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Aid in cloud migration and data center exit initiatives.
• Participate in cutover planning, oversee specific infrastructure delivery workstreams, and coordinate efforts among engineering and compliance teams.
• Develop enablement resources and documentation to facilitate the adoption of cloud-native and infrastructure-as-code-driven operating methodologies among engineering teams.
• Articulate technical decisions and trade-offs to engineering colleagues and team leaders.
• Raise issues that necessitate broader architectural insights.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance workflows, expedite troubleshooting, and boost operational efficiency.
• Over 5 years of experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or network engineering, with a clear progression in scope and technical expertise.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, including Transit Gateway, VPC configurations, multi-account patterns, IAM, and Network Firewall.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of architecture review or governance procedures.
• Strong foundation in cloud networking, encompassing multi-region connectivity, network segmentation, inspection architectures, and hybrid/on-premises integration.
• Experience participating in cloud migration or data center consolidation projects, including infrastructure-as-code delivery and compliance-focused design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with technical colleagues and cross-functional partners.
• Demonstrated success in leveraging AI technologies to support decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business results.
• Experience with network monitoring and observability tools.
• Familiarity with PCI, SOC 2, or similar compliance standards.
• Practical experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, or Octopus Deploy for Kubernetes workload delivery.
• Current or expired Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or AWS certifications that showcase foundational infrastructure expertise.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM platform infrastructure patterns, including traffic routing, access governance, or API management.
• Experience in MSP or multi-tenant IT environments, with exposure to a diverse range of industries and infrastructure patterns.
• Familiarity with Datadog as an observability platform, including the development and migration processes.
