Full-Stack Engineer, AWS, CDK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for services, encompassing development, operations, and monitoring.

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS and CDK.

• Enhance and expand a Java-based backend.

• Execute domain-specific functionality using TypeScript.

• Create and implement interfaces in accordance with OpenAPI standards.

• Analyze existing architectures, troubleshoot issues, and further evolve products.

• Assist in pioneering new product initiatives in real-estate financing.

• Integrate AI projects with full-stack development.

• Develop automated end-to-end testing frameworks.

• Utilize CI/CD methodologies with GitHub Actions alongside monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk.

• Provide support for frontend tasks using Angular as required.

• Collaborate within a small, cross-functional team focused on crafting solutions for real-estate financing and self-service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development with Java and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with distributed system architectures.

• Proficient in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure with AWS, preferably using CDK.

• Track record of overseeing the operations and monitoring of personal services.

• Knowledge of test-driven development and Clean Code principles.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Demonstrated creativity and adaptability.

• Strong self-organization, ownership, and motivation.

• Comprehensive engineering skills with a primary focus on backend development.

• Comfortable working with cloud infrastructure and APIs, with the capability to assist with frontend tasks when necessary.

• Experience in developing AI products or specialized AI training is an advantage.
