Strategic Cloud Engineer – GCP Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop secure and scalable architectures on GCP.

• Establish and implement Landing Zones and infrastructure foundations utilizing Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Collaborate with GKE, GCE, GCVE, and GCS services.

• Create networking solutions employing VPC, Cloud Firewall, Cloud Router, Interconnect, VPN, and IP subnets.

• Implement and manage IAM.

• Implement and oversee Logging & Monitoring solutions.

• Manage and administer cloud resource management.

• Apply FinOps and practices for cost optimization.

• Implement and supervise CI/CD processes.

• Lead or assist in Data Center migrations to GCP.

• Serve as a technical consultant, bridging business requirements with cloud solutions.

• Utilize AI and AI agents to speed up and automate migration and modernization initiatives.

• Advocate for cloud governance, security, and architectural best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions on GCP.

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Extensive experience with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies.

• Proven experience with enterprise cloud solutions.

• Background in Professional Services and/or Technical Consulting.

• Programming skills in Python, Java, Go, C, or C++.

• Strong project management abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience, as a minimum qualification.

• Fluent English is essential.

• Advanced Spanish is an advantage.
