This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist with BAU operations, projects, and incident resolution involving vendors and partners to minimize business disruption.
• Ensure that Network and Telecommunications services adhere to contractual, architectural, security, and availability standards.
• Oversee relationships with suppliers and vendors, including conducting service reviews, renewing contracts, and monitoring service performance.
• Serve as a liaison among IT Operations, Business Change, IT Delivery, support teams, and external providers.
• Review and authorize changes while participating in CAB meetings.
• Facilitate the transition of new and modified services into the support framework.
• Assist with financial governance, resource planning, certificate management, vulnerability patching, and other operational controls.
• Identify and enact service enhancements, cost-saving measures, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to ensuring the performance, availability, and support of global network, telephony, security, fixed, and wireless services.
• Collaborate across Cisco Switching & Routing, FMC, WLC, ISE, Catalyst Center, and FortiGate platforms.
• Practical experience with Cisco switching and routing CLI.
• Experience with firewalls is a plus.
• Background in multinational telecommunications provision and support, encompassing network infrastructure, WAN, LAN, mobile, telephony, data centers, and cloud partners.
• Strong grasp of ITIL principles and the processes of Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience in defining, supporting, and managing the lifecycle of Network and Telecommunications services.
• Experience managing outsourced support teams, suppliers, and vendors, including adherence to contractual obligations, SLAs, and formal supplier relationship management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at the board level.
• Proficient in translating technical information into business language.
• Experience working in a matrix-managed environment, with an understanding of budgets and cost control processes.
• Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to maintain clarity and focus under pressure.
• Commitment to staying updated on technology trends and solutions in the Network and Telecommunications field.
• ITIL v3 Practitioner or ITIL 4 Managing Professional (or equivalent) is desirable.
