Network and Data Communications Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate data and advanced voice circuits following maintenance tasks, ensuring quality of service and preventing recurring issues.

• Examine data and advanced voice circuit inventory to pinpoint optimization possibilities in transport routes and/or the IP network.

• Create technical documentation recommending enhancements to transport routes and/or the IP network after significant incidents.

• Oversee the regional repair and service queues.

• Assist the field technician team with repairs and service inquiries.

• Analyze and track decommissioning projects related to legacy network platforms.

• Uphold the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the workspace.

• Execute other related activities of similar nature, complexity, and responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics, information technology, or a comparable discipline.

• Preferred minimum of 6 months of experience in the position.

• Proficiency in analyzing and configuring TCP/IP network protocols (IPv4 and IPv6).

• Familiarity with the OSI Model.

• Skills in analyzing and configuring static and dynamic network routing (IPv4 and IPv6).

• Basic knowledge of configuring Cisco and HP routers.

• Basic knowledge of configuring Aruba and D-Link switches.

• Understanding of TDM and SDH transport networks.

• Familiarity with wireless networks.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

• Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of SD-WAN equipment.

• Troubleshooting expertise in Alcatel, Huawei, and Bosch SDH networks.

• Troubleshooting skills for Huawei, Padtec, and NEC PTN networks.

• Experience in troubleshooting and configuring Layer 3 switches.

• Basic understanding of VPN configuration.

• Basic knowledge of ACLs and VoIP.

• Familiarity with other tools included in the basic software suite.
