Network and Data Communications Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of data and advanced voice circuits post-maintenance activities to ensure service quality and avert future maintenance challenges.

• Examine data and inventory of advanced voice circuits to uncover opportunities for optimizing transport routes and/or the IP network.

• Develop technical documentation that suggests enhancements to transport routes and/or the IP network in response to widespread incidents.

• Supervise the regional repair and service queues.

• Offer support to field technicians in managing repairs and service requests.

• Assess and oversee projects aimed at decommissioning outdated network platforms.

• Ensure the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the work environment.

• Execute additional tasks of a comparable nature, complexity, and responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electronics, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.

• Preferred experience of six months in the role.

• Proficiency in the analysis and configuration of TCP/IP network protocols (IPv4 and IPv6).

• Understanding of the OSI Model.

• Skills in the analysis and configuration of both static and dynamic network routing (IPv4 and IPv6).

• Basic configuration skills for Cisco and HP routers.

• Basic configuration skills for Aruba and D-Link switches.

• Familiarity with TDM and SDH transport networks.

• Knowledge of wireless networks.

• Intermediate skills in Excel.

• Intermediate skills in PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of SD-WAN equipment.

• Troubleshooting expertise for Alcatel, Huawei, and Bosch SDH networks.

• Troubleshooting skills for Huawei, Padtec, and NEC PTN networks.

• Experience with troubleshooting and configuration of Layer 3 switches.

• Basic skills in VPN configuration.

• Fundamental knowledge of ACLs and VoIP.

• Familiarity with other tools within the standard productivity software suite.
