This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and Wi-Fi environments.
• Manage and support Cato Cloud connectivity, policies, security controls, troubleshooting, and user/site onboarding.
• Uphold network security practices, including patch management, access control, segmentation, and incident response support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors/ISPs to address connectivity and performance challenges.
• Document network topology, configurations, standards, and operational runbooks.
• Provide support for VMware environments, including ESXi/vCenter operations, VM provisioning, performance monitoring, and backup coordination.
• Assist with server management, storage solutions, backups, and endpoint management.
• Engage in maintenance windows, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Deliver Tier 2/3 desktop support for Windows/macOS endpoints and productivity tools.
• Resolve hardware/software issues, user access problems, printer issues, and conferencing/meeting-room technology.
• Manage technical onboarding and offboarding tasks, including accounts, devices, access, and security baselines.
• Maintain excellent customer service, clear communication, and timely updates on tickets.
• Extensive experience in network administration and desktop/end-user support.
• Practical experience with VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) and Cato Cloud.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, documentation, and ITIL methodologies.
• General infrastructure/networking certifications are preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas once a quarter.
• Full-time W2 employment.
• Remote work opportunity in Texas.
• Quarterly travel to Dallas.
