This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Juniper network devices and systems.

• Design, implement, configure, oversee, and maintain Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.

• Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot networks to identify and resolve common network issues.

• Implement and uphold security measures.

• Manage firewalls, access controls, and other security protocols.

• Develop and maintain thorough network documentation.

• Update network diagrams and service logs.

• Address network incidents and promptly diagnose and resolve technical challenges.

• Schedule and conduct network upgrades, patch management, and routine preventative maintenance.

• Collaborate with vendors concerning the configuration and maintenance of network equipment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist (JNCIS) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE) certification is highly recommended.

• Familiarity with network management software tools such as Juniper’s Apstra is preferred.

• A minimum of 5-10 years of network administration experience, particularly with Juniper networks.

• In-depth knowledge of Juniper network hardware, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), firewall configurations, VPNs, and LAN/WAN technologies.

• Proficiency with Juniper MX 80, MX120, MX 240, MX 204, MX480, MX 960, QFX5100, and QFX 10000.

• Experience with MX, SRX, and QFX series.

• SRX expertise on any of the listed models.

• Familiarity with Junos OS versions.

• Experience in data center networking.

• Experience with carrier networks.

• Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.

• Knowledge of switching protocols including STP, RSTP, MC-LAG, VPC, and MPLS (essential).

• Understanding of virtual routers, routing instances, and IPSec tunnels (essential).

• Familiarity with incident/change management tools like ServiceNow and Jira (optional).

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as PRTG (optional).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capability to manage stress and maintain focus during technical challenges.

• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional growth.
