Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Set up, maintain, and resolve issues in LAN/WAN environments, routing protocols, and switching equipment.

• Oversee enterprise wireless networks, including access point setup, deployment, performance optimization, and troubleshooting via cloud-based controllers such as Ruckus or similar systems.

• Configure and manage MikroTik routers, focusing on routing frameworks, firewall configurations, VPN setups, and network enhancements.

• Monitor network efficiency, bandwidth usage, and total network health utilizing management, monitoring, and diagnostic tools.

• Proactively detect and resolve network bottlenecks, connectivity challenges, and potential downtime threats.

• Act as the technical escalation point for intricate network connectivity and infrastructure challenges.

• Collaborate with hardware and technology vendors when addressing or troubleshooting network-related problems.

• Keep precise network diagrams, configuration backups, documentation, and change logs up to date.

• Provide support to end users and manage support tickets.

• Contribute to ongoing enhancements in network reliability, security, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidate must be based in the Philippines.

• Possession of CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on networking knowledge.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in network administration, support, or a comparable position.

• Practical experience in configuring and managing MikroTik RouterOS devices and routing frameworks.

• Strong grasp of wireless networking concepts, RF fundamentals, enterprise Wi-Fi deployment, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience managing Ruckus Unleashed/Cloud, Cisco Meraki, or similar cloud-based wireless management systems.

• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN environments, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN setups.

• Familiarity with network monitoring, management, and diagnostic software.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, especially for complex network connectivity issues.

• Capability to maintain clear and precise technical documentation and configuration records.

• Strong communication and coordination abilities when collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

• Openness to disclose any current ongoing roles or client commitments.
