Netsuite Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with consultants, product managers, and service teams to convert business and functional requirements into technical solutions.

• Assess custom NetSuite development in comparison to standard NetSuite configuration and functionality.

• Suggest scalable, modular, and upgrade-safe technical methodologies.

• Create custom solutions utilizing SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and related technologies.

• Develop reusable components, workflows, scripts, and automation processes.

• Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and CRMs, eCommerce platforms, third-party systems, and APIs.

• Create custom records, forms, dashboards, reports, workflows, and other NetSuite solutions.

• Execute unit testing, peer code reviews, debugging, and performance assessments.

• Collaborate with QA teams and consultants to confirm solutions meet use cases, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Identify and rectify technical issues prior to deployment.

• Assist in the deployment of product features, customizations, integrations, and client-specific solutions.

• Troubleshoot production issues, enhance system performance, and fix bugs.

• Provide ongoing technical support and improvements post-implementation and go-live.

• Advise on feasibility, technical risks, architecture, development methods, and NetSuite best practices.

• Convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Share expertise, mentor junior developers, and help establish development standards.

• Stay updated with NetSuite releases, SuiteCloud technologies, development frameworks, and ERP trends.

• Implement version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment automation as appropriate.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to Kalpa’s technical architecture and NetSuite standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of practical experience in developing and customizing solutions within the NetSuite ecosystem.

• Extensive experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, and NetSuite integrations.

• Proven experience in designing and developing custom NetSuite solutions, workflows, scripts, reports, forms, and integrations.

• Strong grasp of software development principles, APIs, databases, integration patterns, and system architecture.

• Experience connecting NetSuite with external applications such as CRM, eCommerce, financial, logistics, and other business systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of converting business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Understanding of ERP business processes and how technology can enhance operational efficiency.

• Familiarity with version control, development environments, testing practices, and structured deployment processes.

• Exceptional communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with consultants, clients, project managers, and technical teams.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote, high-autonomy setting.
