Netsuite Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collect, document, and prioritize business requirements for enhancements and new features in NetSuite, collaborating with finance, accounting, and operations stakeholders.

• Convert business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

• Configure and maintain various NetSuite functionalities such as saved searches, custom fields, forms, roles, and basic workflow modifications.

• Plan and conduct user acceptance testing, create test cases, and monitor defects for NetSuite releases.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on NetSuite processes, address user issues, and enhance system utilization.

• Work collaboratively with developers, architects, and integration teams to implement scalable system changes.

• Keep documentation updated for business processes, system configurations, and change history.

• Identify and resolve system-related issues that affect financial reporting during period-close activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a business systems analyst, with direct exposure to NetSuite in finance and accounting settings.

• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite core modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets.

• Proficiency in configuring NetSuite saved searches, custom fields, forms, and roles.

• Ability to create and interpret SuiteAnalytics reports.

• Experience with adjustments to NetSuite workflows and system configuration.

• Skill in planning user acceptance testing (UAT), developing test cases, and tracking defects within NetSuite.

• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the NetSuite system.

• Preferred: Experience with Zip or similar procurement/purchase order management systems.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce-to-NetSuite integration processes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with multi-subsidiary NetSuite environments.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting or coordinating ERP implementations or significant system upgrades.

• Preferred: NetSuite SuiteFoundation or ERP Consultant certification.
