.NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, test, and maintain web applications utilizing C# and .NET 8.0.

• Create and sustain user interfaces with Blazor, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React.js.

• Implement and uphold both frontend and backend functionalities, ensuring reliable application-to-database integration.

• Integrate and manage REST APIs and various application interfaces.

• Connect front-end applications with AWS services.

• Guarantee application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Develop and maintain Oracle queries along with database interactions.

• Collaborate with database administrators on intricate queries and database challenges.

• Investigate, diagnose, and rectify application defects and production problems.

• Create and execute unit and integration tests, engage in code reviews, and adhere to coding standards and version control practices.

• Identify and address performance challenges while supporting the stability of production applications.

• Follow secure coding practices and relevant program security requirements that support U.S. Navy missions.

• Document application modifications and technical solutions.

• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, database administrators, and other technical team members.

• Work alongside site reliability engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues in Kubernetes-based environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience, including practical development with C# and .NET.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Active Secret security clearance.

• U.S. Citizenship is required to meet the eligibility criteria for obtaining this type of security clearance.

• Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications with C# and .NET 8.0.

• Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using Blazor and JavaScript.

• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as Bootstrap and React.js.

• Experience in integrating and troubleshooting REST APIs and application interfaces.

• Familiarity with Oracle databases, including SQL query writing and supporting application-to-database integration.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work collaboratively with developers, database administrators, system engineers, and other technical stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical changes and effectively communicate issues and solutions.
