This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, develop, and sustain robust C#.NET solutions, which encompass Windows Services, WPF and WinForms clients, console applications, and inter-process communication via Named Pipes.
• Construct server-side components utilizing ASP.NET Web API and Web Forms, integrating with Active Directory, Azure, Intune, SQL Server, and SCCM/MECM.
• Modernize existing VBScript and traditional scripting into maintainable C#.NET services and libraries.
• Implement REST and RPC APIs, ITSM integrations, OAuth, incident creation, attachments, and compliance with Microsoft Graph API and inventory feeds.
• Package, sign, and distribute MSI installers, overseeing deployments through UAT, endpoint management, and production rollout.
• Automate file distribution and synchronization workflows across multiple servers.
• Lead CI/CD build and release automation, including PR validation, quality gates, automated testing, and staged deployments.
• Utilize AI coding assistants responsibly, ensuring thorough review, testing, and ownership of deployed code.
• Plan, merge, test, and validate assigned modules prior to handoff.
• Generate design documents, test evidence, and release notes while adhering to branching, PR, and versioning standards.
• Provide L3 engineering support and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to the SDLC using Agile methodologies while managing multiple priorities.
• Over 6 years of practical experience in C#.NET development.
• Proven history of delivering production-grade solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong experience with SQL Server or MySQL, Azure, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience in developing web applications and familiarity with MVC patterns.
• Background in integrating with ITSM platforms, such as ServiceNow.
• Deep understanding of OOP principles and common design patterns.
• Practical experience in designing and maintaining YAML-based CI/CD pipelines that cover build, testing, artifact management, and release processes.
• Practical use of AI coding assistants with sound judgment to accept, refine, or reject AI-generated code.
• Understanding of responsible AI usage, data classification, and prompt hygiene when utilizing third-party AI tools.
• Capability to rigorously test, document evidence, and communicate status effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maturity to pose clarifying questions early, provide constructive feedback, and avoid rework.
• Nice to have: familiarity with SCCM/MECM, Intune, and Active Directory.
• Nice to have: basic knowledge of Linux environments.
