This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Propel profitable sales growth for a range of PacStar products within Navy/USMC and other designated accounts.
• Take ownership of the entire sales process from initial prospecting to final closure.
• Sustain key accounts while fostering relationships with Program Managers, Senior Officers, and other critical decision-makers.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships with customers across all influence and decision-making tiers.
• Promote sales of PacStar manufactured products/services, integrated solutions, and selected manufacturers’ offerings.
• Formulate account strategies and execute tactical plans.
• Relay strategies and plans to leadership, Account Managers, Inside Sales, engineering, customer service, and other support organizations.
• Oversee accounts and transactions across various customer locations and operational organizations within the territory.
• Collaborate with the Federal Program team on nationwide account management when applicable.
• Draft business cases, ROI analyses, cost/benefit analyses, and other performance metrics.
• Lead accounts for RFP, RFI, OTA, and unsolicited proposal submissions.
• Keep informed on developing and cutting-edge solutions, products, and services.
• Address customer escalations promptly, thoroughly, and efficiently.
• Apply strategic and consultative selling methodologies to drive revenue growth.
• Conduct regular territory/account reviews with Sales Management.
• Supply account status updates, forecasts, and business plans to sales leadership and operational teams.
• Engage in regular travel within the region for sales meetings with both existing and prospective customers.
• Participate in trade shows and other business development events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Over 7 years of successful sales and account management experience focused on Navy/USMC.
• Strong comprehension of Navy/USMC Programs.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and the importance of data integrity.
• A proven history of achieving quotas is essential.
• Experience in managing and expanding a sales team.
• Working knowledge of DoD/Federal contracting processes.
• Knowledge of voice, network, data, and security products and solutions is beneficial.
• Cisco experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional image for both oneself and the Company.
• Proficiently manage customer inquiries and escalations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of computers and associated business applications, including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a dependable vehicle as required by market transportation needs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Capability to access military installations to meet with customers.
• Eligibility for a SECRET clearance from the U.S. Government.
