This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop a high-performing team by leading, empowering, coaching, and nurturing 6 Specialty Care Sales Representatives to surpass sales performance goals within designated budgets.
• Collaborate across functions with Medical, Market Access, Sales Operations, and Marketing to convert field insights into strategic brand and territory plans.
• Execute compliant commercial initiatives that enhance customer impact and boost sales performance.
• Foster a high-performance and positive team environment that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, experimentation, and risk-taking.
• Formulate proactive business plans that address local opportunities and challenges while reflecting the external market landscape.
• Assess monthly performance against expectations, pinpoint opportunities, make necessary adjustments, and enhance business outcomes.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with Healthcare Providers to identify innovative solutions that improve cardiovascular care and patient outcomes.
• Work alongside Medical Affairs and Marketing to devise solutions for key customers and meet market demands.
• Ensure adherence to external regulations and internal policies, including the reporting of adverse events.
• Drive and expand AstraZeneca’s CVRM franchise in Canada.
• Report directly to the Commercial CVRM Director.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector.
• Background in sales, sales training, marketing, or sales management, with specific experience in sales management.
• Proven success in leading people, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Comprehensive understanding of a manager’s responsibilities and their influence on the capabilities of Specialty Care Sales Representatives, including therapeutic expertise, territory management, selling and planning skills, product promotion, customer advocacy, and the patient journey.
• Established record of analyzing customer insights and implementing strategies to achieve sales objectives.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, accompanied by strong active listening abilities.
• Proficient in presenting and communicating effectively to diverse groups and in one-on-one discussions.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, standout colleague with exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities with demonstrated agility.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in diverse, cross-functional settings and enhances team cohesion and flexibility.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, up to 20% of the time.
• Proficient in oral and written English.
• Fluency in French would be an asset.
