This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with major P&C carriers to align Duck Creek solutions with client business objectives.
• Oversee all phases of sales cycles within designated accounts.
• Educate potential and current clients about solutions and competitive positioning.
• Acquire new high-profile business and nurture existing accounts.
• Serve as the sales authority for the team and assist senior leadership with sales, product, and technology matters.
• Establish formal networks with key decision-makers and act as an external representative of the organization.
• Cultivate relationships with key influencers and gain business insights into assigned accounts.
• Lead, mentor, and coach Sales Directors.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new Sales Directors.
• Guide Sales Directors on creating and managing their pipeline.
• Develop and implement prospecting strategies to identify, qualify, pursue, and secure new business.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with business leaders and C-level executives.
• Develop, sustain, and expand the sales pipeline.
• Present customer proposals and presentations that articulate the Duck Creek value proposition.
• Keep account and sales activity information updated in Salesforce.com.
• Manage account development and opportunity pursuit from assignment to closing using Salesforce CRM.
• Provide accurate forecasts of new bookings.
• Formulate and execute strategies to acquire new accounts.
• Carry out other related duties as necessary.
• Preferred degree or equivalent practical experience in a similar role.
• Over 5 years of business experience in large enterprise sales dealing with complex business software / IT solutions.
• More than 5 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry/domain.
• Expert in managing large deal pursuit teams and complex buy-side consensus groups.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire Duck Creek offering, including Service and Support.
• Proven track record of high sales achievement.
• Strong experience in long-term resource, technology, and account structure planning.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Capability to understand and interpret carrier strategies and align relevant Duck Creek software and service capabilities with C-level stakeholders.
• Proficient in managing and leveraging external partner ecosystems.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• May require a schedule that includes overnight work.
