National Project Superintendent – 100% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the construction of asphalt and concrete parking lots at various sites across the United States.

• Manage projects in the field from start to finish.

• Conduct pre-construction meetings and initiate project kick-offs.

• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, resources, equipment, materials, and timelines.

• Implement project setup prior to the commencement of construction.

• Review scopes, plans, materials, and all aspects of the job.

• Document daily job progress and provide regular reports to clients and the Rabine America office team.

• Execute projects within budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers.

• Maintain communication with customers, subcontractors, the National Operations Manager, and the Operations Coordinator.

• Negotiate project details and monitor change orders.

• Ensure quality control by inspecting scope, quality, and cleanliness.

• Collaborate with and assist other Project Managers.

• Foster a safety culture that prioritizes injury- and incident-free work environments onsite.

• Work alongside the Rabine safety team to uphold safety standards.

• Perform onsite repairs, such as installing signs and bollards.

• Identify potential subcontractors for future company expansion.

• Complete project closeout tasks, manage punch lists, and approve invoices.

• Travel to job sites within the state and occasionally out of state.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.

• Experience in the paving industry or project management is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Project Management is advantageous.

• Proven ability to set and manage budgets and resources effectively.

• Strong commercial insight and understanding of the financial implications of decisions regarding project budgets.

• A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are mandatory.

• OSHA 30 Certification, First Aid and Flaggers Certification, and relevant safety procedure certifications are preferred.

• SWPPP certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with mix designs and pavement specifications is advantageous.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Capable of performing manual labor and lifting up to 70 lbs.

• Reliable transportation is essential.

• Willingness to accommodate travel schedules.

• Comfortable executing physically demanding tasks throughout the year in various weather conditions.

• Regularly lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.

• Engage in frequent climbing and working from ladders.

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
