This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Develop and implement the national strategic plan for Environmental Construction and Remedial Services in alignment with Terracon’s corporate goals.
• Establish standardized processes for safety, quality, estimating, and risk management across all regional operations.
• Create and enhance internal capabilities, including training programs, tools, and repositories of best practices.
• Spearhead the nationwide growth of self-performed environmental construction and remediation services.
• Serve as the primary liaison between national strategy, local operations, ECRS leaders, and the APR/SME network.
• Track and report KPIs related to safety, profitability, and project delivery.
• Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Supervise competitive estimating models and risk-adjusted pricing strategies.
• Cultivate a culture of safety and quality through mentorship, coaching, and performance incentives.
• Represent Terracon’s ECRS capabilities at client meetings, industry conferences, and in business development activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in environmental construction, remediation, or similar services.
• Demonstrated success in developing profitable, self-performed service lines on a national level.
• Extensive knowledge of EPA regulations, OSHA safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong financial insight with experience in budgeting, estimating, and risk management.
• Exceptional communication and influencing abilities to align various stakeholder groups.
• Proven capability to create and implement standardized processes across multiple locations.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-site projects.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 30% of the time.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CSP, or CSM are advantageous.
