This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +5 more states.
β’ Act as the primary field-based leader for education, support, and resolution of issues concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with corporate clients, healthcare providers, and office personnel.
β’ Evaluate educational requirements and promote collaboration among essential stakeholders.
β’ Formulate strategic plans based on corporate access and reimbursement processes, objectives, and obstacles.
β’ Provide education to stakeholders on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, and payer coding standards.
β’ Collaborate with key account managers and field reimbursement managers on a national scale.
β’ Function as an access, fulfillment, and reimbursement authority for designated accounts.
β’ Guide compliant discussions related to access and fulfillment.
β’ Utilize data and account management capabilities to tackle access challenges.
β’ Address urgent access and affordability concerns for patients.
β’ Partner with managed care colleagues regarding existing policies and potential future modifications.
β’ Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and problem-solving assistance.
β’ Cultivate trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
β’ Oversee account engagement logistics, routing, and business strategy.
β’ Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
β’ Enhance understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
β’ Collaborate with internal J&J departments and act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions.
β’ Conduct business in accordance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards and complete all necessary training.
β’ Bachelor's degree (ideally in healthcare or business/public administration).
β’ A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment, establishing robust customer relationships.
β’ Proven expertise in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, including coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Relevant experience in reimbursement or managed care, encompassing revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
β’ Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
β’ Problem-solving skills to navigate complex access situations and identify timely solutions efficiently.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities along with effective follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50%.
β’ Experience with neuroscience disease states is preferred.
β’ An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
β’ Strong market access and business acumen are preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement is preferred.
β’ Technical knowledge of payer policy, including coding, coverage, and payment is preferred.
β’ Experience with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
β’ Eligibility for long-term incentive program.
β’ Vacation entitlement of 120 hours per calendar year.
β’ Sick leave of 40 hours per calendar year; 48 hours for employees in Colorado; and 56 hours for employees in Washington.
