This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Assist in the development and implementation of annual account planning and strategic planning initiatives.
• Create planning frameworks and tools to ensure consistent account planning across Area Access channel management and trade.
• Oversee strategic planning milestones, follow-up tasks, and deliverables among various teams.
• Convert strategic priorities into actionable plans with designated ownership and accountability.
• Aid account teams in preparing for essential customer interactions and planning sessions.
• Keep track of customer priorities, action items, and strategic initiatives.
• Design and manage tools, templates, and best practices to enhance planning efficiency.
• Act as a central coordination hub among Account Teams, Payer Strategy, Cross-Portfolio Strategy, and Market Access functions.
• Facilitate initiatives that are customer-specific and involve multiple stakeholders across different customers.
• Synchronize planning cycles, business reviews, and strategic initiatives across various therapeutic areas.
• Oversee projects, communication, and issue resolution to ensure initiatives remain on course.
• Establish resources and operational alignment that support the account management model across Area Access and Trade.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of uniform planning processes and tools.
• Promote effective Ways of Working among account teams and headquarters partners.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with training and learning teams on scalable capability-building strategies.
• Define engagement models, expectations, and roles related to training resources.
• Coordinate follow-up planning and execution after Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid Summits.
• Monitor actions, decisions, and strategic commitments across therapeutic areas.
• Support the implementation of Summit outputs and strategic initiatives across different business units.
• Foster accountability and visibility for cross-portfolio priorities.
• Translate Summit outputs, customer insights, and market access priorities into field education and planning resources.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required; an MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in Market Access, Account Management, Sales Leadership, Commercial Operations, Strategic Planning, or a similar commercial field.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is necessary.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
• Experience working effectively within matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authority.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including interaction with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to distill complex issues and translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Exceptional skills in planning, organization, and project management.
• Proven capability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience navigating matrix organizations and leading initiatives through influence rather than authority.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across functions and organizational levels.
• Sound judgment, business acumen, and ability to connect disparate issues into practical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• High degree of professionalism, emotional intelligence, discretion, and organizational savvy.
• Self-motivated with intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other business productivity tools.
