This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Coordinate service for both existing and replacement equipment for National Accounts within the National Service Department.
• Receive and input National Service calls on a daily basis.
• Ensure follow-up on each call until resolution.
• Authorize invoices for services, repairs, and preventative maintenance work.
• Collect pricing information and process service quotes.
• Manage work orders, order necessary parts, and track until completion.
• Input relevant information into the Alert order management system.
• Research, establish, and nurture relationships to enhance the service network.
• Create customer quotes that include pricing, parts, and lead times.
• Log and monitor work orders each day.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service.
• Complete service software processing to bill customers.
• Approve vendor invoices.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Must reside in the Western Region of the United States.
• Must be situated within the Mountain or Pacific Time Zone.
• Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and customer facility teams.
• Call and email customers and subcontractors for each case to coordinate work and confirm satisfaction.
• Interest in gaining knowledge about warehouse equipment, such as compactors, dock levers, balers, and forklifts.
• Capability to troubleshoot customer requirements.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, technology-oriented service environment.
• Capacity to work independently.
• Ability to occasionally collaborate in a team setting.
• Demonstrated organizational and planning abilities.
• Skill in prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient problem-solving abilities.
• Basic comprehension of accounting principles.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds and needs in remote offices.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move office equipment or files weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Must occasionally wear approved PPE when in specific areas of the property.
