
National Account Manager – Self-Funded TPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Act as the primary daily liaison for national account clients and brokers.
• Ensure prompt and effective communication in response to client and broker inquiries.
• Acknowledge all client and broker emails within one business day, providing clear updates on resolution timelines.
• Collaborate with the National Account Executive to nurture strategic client relationships.
• Initiate proactive outreach regarding operational updates, claims activities, and service trends.
• Oversee and manage claim escalations, appeals, and high-touch service matters with internal claims teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure the resolution of recurring issues with comprehensive documentation.
• Identify trends in claims or services and escalate patterns to leadership for long-term remediation.
• Monitor centralized service channels to ensure that inquiries are efficiently routed and resolved with accountability.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Claim Operations, Curated Solutions, Reporting, and Stop-Loss.
• Collaborate with the HPAC team to deliver accurate data and insights for plan performance meetings.
• Review and perform quality checks on service materials, claims documentation, and client deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to national account service standards, regulatory requirements, and internal SLAs.
• Maintain Salesforce records for service activities, escalations, and client communications.
• Over 5 years of experience in account management, client services, or benefits administration.
• Experience with national or large group clients is preferred.
• Strong understanding of self-funded health plans, stop-loss processes, and claims resolution is essential.
• Proven capability to manage complex, high-volume client relationships professionally.
• Exceptional organizational skills and responsiveness, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% for client meetings, open enrollment events, or onsite support.
• A collaborative and solution-focused mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated professional presence with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both internal and client-facing situations.
