This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Implement a strategic engagement strategy at specified accounts within the territory to ensure product coverage and access for a heart-failure therapy.
• Identify opportunities and emerging trends that foster mutually beneficial partnerships and enhance patient access to care.
• Achieve defined goals during engagements with targeted accounts, key opinion leaders (KOLs), providers, and administrators.
• Educate and collaborate with key decision-makers to promote product understanding and usage.
• Regularly interact and collaborate with multiple departments and key stakeholders within EVERSANA and the client organization.
• Meet or surpass defined objectives and expense-plan targets by developing and executing strategies for assigned accounts.
• Co-lead the development and execution of Strategic Account Plans alongside Commercial Leadership.
• Facilitate pull-through at payer accounts through consistent calls and meetings.
• Utilize value-based healthcare commercial resources to enhance care and increase the adoption of comprehensive care measures.
• Participate in or co-lead cross-functional market meetings aimed at account/customer profiling, performance engagement, and accountability.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to achieve optimal results.
• Exhibit peer leadership with local field teams, cross-functional partners, and internal leadership.
• Enhance engagement between client stakeholders at targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strategic engagement opportunities with KOLs within designated customers.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal and external customer stakeholders.
• Collect insights from aligned Centers and communicate information to Commercial Leadership and the wider organization.
• Align disease-state and therapeutic activities with current sales and marketing strategies.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Leverage data and insights to prioritize opportunities, support planning and execution, influence decisions, drive business development, and address customer-business challenges.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a healthcare degree is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• At least 5+ years of current experience in pharmaceutical payer account management.
• Proven experience navigating complex accounts.
• Technical knowledge of healthcare Medicare and commercial payer reimbursement from both patient and provider perspectives.
• Experience in cardiology with a working knowledge of Heart Failure.
• Understanding of Buy-and-Bill drug reimbursement dynamics with payers and Medicare MACs.
• Product launch experience, ideally within small to mid-sized companies.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Advanced presentation skills for delivering corporate-approved materials.
• Strong business analytical skills.
• Ability to quickly identify issues and develop compliant recommendations.
• Familiarity with current and potential future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information impacting the business and organization.
• Capability to articulate scientific and clinical aspects of disease education and management, mechanism of action, treatment prescribing information, and related topics.
• Expert collaboration with cross-functional partners, including marketing, training, operations, and medical teams.
• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment.
• Ability to manage others to ensure compliant operations.
• Candidates should reside near a major airport hub.
• Willingness to spend approximately 30%-60% of time traveling; overnight travel is required.
