This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Drive profitable growth by securing a larger share of overall opportunity spending and fostering new business within designated national accounts.
• Contribute to the creation of an annual business plan that aligns with Guest Supply's corporate goals and the long-term objectives of customers.
• Take the lead in, participate in, and support new product innovation, customer presentations, program launches, and program modifications.
• Oversee daily customer interactions through both direct and indirect channels.
• Comprehend, manage, and address customer escalations and critical situations effectively.
• Elevate issues for discussion with the Director, formulate strategies, and implement them accordingly.
• Maintain quarterly pricing lists, generate quotes, and oversee supplier contracts.
• Offer guidance and communication regarding brand-specific programs.
• Identify and propose new brand initiatives and product innovations.
• Formulate strategies to capture zero-account business.
• Acquire business from newly opened hotels alongside corporate accounts and field sales teams.
• Enhance group business share in collaboration with the Management Group team.
• Collaborate with GPOs to secure new business from committed customers.
• Develop and implement program launches and modifications.
• Lead and assist in crafting RFP responses, incorporating new product development.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards in Resupply Guides and Opening Templates.
• Enhance customer support through category management, cost reduction, and best practices for continuous improvement.
• Travel, including overnight stays, for client meetings, company events, staff meetings, training sessions, and industry or vendor trade shows.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Account Management/Sales Management.
• Preferred experience in hospitality or a related market.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and professional interaction skills.
• Ability to present information and address inquiries from suppliers, customers, management, and other departments.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including mentoring and developing individuals and teams.
• Organizational and project management skills; adept at planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple initiatives and deadlines independently.
• Capacity to manage large, complex projects effectively.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Strong customer service and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in problem-solving, information gathering, and analysis.
• Sound judgment and timely decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand and implement relevant policies and procedures.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, including pricing and forecasting.
• Proficient in MS Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
• Familiarity with Phocas, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and provide proof of current automobile insurance coverage.
