This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Manage the relationship and business outcomes for AutoZone while fostering the growth of GM’s ACDelco brand.
• Oversee, negotiate, and renew contracts between GM and AutoZone.
• Ensure a regular business rhythm at the headquarters level.
• Achieve sales and growth targets by broadening product offerings and stock-keeping units within the account.
• Facilitate quarterly business reviews, line reviews, and actionable plans.
• Collaborate with AutoZone on marketing, promotional, and growth strategies.
• Examine sales, margins, inventory, and customer insights to suggest assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
• Coordinate supply chain forecasts for product launches, line extensions, and promotional events.
• Work with Finance to create and implement product pricing strategies.
• Assess trade-offs related to sales, margins, and service levels.
• Address back-orders, overdue orders, pricing discrepancies, claims, returns, deductions, and penalties.
• Oversee promotional and return reserve budgets along with necessary policy adjustments.
• Lead activities related to new product setup and supersession.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Product, Cataloging, and Marketing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in managing national or key accounts, including negotiation of vendor agreements, resolution of pricing or supply issues, and driving sales and margin growth.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales and growth objectives in a customer-facing role.
• At least one year of experience utilizing the IMS system, including generating reports and supporting account workflows such as pricing, order status, and part release.
• Capability to analyze sales, margin, and inventory trends, translating insights into account actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Workplace.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips.
• Must have and maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in accordance with the licensing requirements of the states where work is conducted.
• Experience in building relationships with senior-level customers and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience leading quarterly business reviews, line reviews, and maintaining documented action plans.
• Ability to identify root causes and drive resolution for pricing, supply, claims, and product-related issues.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to evaluate trade-offs concerning sales, margin, and service levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with an ownership mindset.
• Advanced reporting capabilities.
• Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must reside in an approved city within the designated territory or be willing to relocate within the specified timeline.
• Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report review.
