This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote and sell IEM power distribution products, such as MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, and panelboards, through direct sales channels.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with medium and large Electrical Contractor accounts.
• Establish contacts and drive sales with key end-user accounts.
• Compile comprehensive project package quotations, incorporating both IEM and non-IEM products, to provide complete material bills.
• Create, own, implement, and continually refine sponsored account plans in collaboration with the Sales Director.
• Foster relationships with decision-makers and influencers within accounts.
• Grasp client purchasing processes, challenges, needs, business strategies, operations, and risks.
• Identify and pursue revenue opportunities within targeted accounts.
• Craft proposals that fulfill or surpass client expectations and commercially engage throughout the purchasing journey.
• Supervise the transition to the IEM Project Management team.
• Track commercial interactions to ensure customer satisfaction, successful outcomes, and vendor performance.
• Articulate the value of supporting accounts within IEM and promote IEM within client organizations.
• Offer account-specific guidance and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Handle forecasting and supply the Sales Director with information for capacity planning.
• Oversee and manage projects in collaboration with IEM’s Platform Execution team.
• Travel required is approximately 30%-40%.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5–10 years of experience in selling power distribution equipment, including MV/LV switchgear and switchboards.
• Proven success in negotiating medium and large project orders.
• Experience in establishing new contacts and maintaining relationships with major contractors throughout the sales process.
• Demonstrated capability to maximize client potential.
• Self-driven individual with a strong level of professionalism.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in establishing, executing, and continually evolving account plans.
• Skilled in overseeing and managing projects effectively with IEM’s Platform Execution team.
• Capable of maintaining oversight of commercial engagements to ensure customer satisfaction, success, and vendor performance.
