This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern Pierre Fabre operations.

• Promote immediate access to Tab-cel post-approval by educating payer customers and financial stakeholders at treatment centers about the product's value proposition.

• Track trends, policy modifications, and their implications for the US Value and Access Team.

• Identify opportunities for synergy and collaboration through proactive planning and cross-functional engagement with customers.

• Facilitate payer coverage assessments for Tab-cel by exchanging pre-approval information and engaging with national and regional payers in the Commercial, Medicare, and VA sectors post-approval.

• Support access strategies by engaging with Federal Payers and Medicare Fee-For-Service.

• Contribute to the strategic goals of market access.

• Inform payers about urgent unmet needs and provide resources for coverage pathways prior to and following approval.

• Identify relevant payer stakeholders and establish expedited case review processes.

• Deliver approved product education and economic health information to payer and provider clients.

• Communicate payer coverage to providers after approval and foster confidence in reimbursement.

• Train treatment sites and stakeholders on reimbursement procedures, coverage, and coding specifics.

• Collaborate with external specialty distributor counterparts.

• Relay payer coverage criteria to internal field teams and external care sites.

• Prepare potential treatment centers to be reimbursement-ready before and after expected approval.

• Assist providers and payers in navigating prior authorizations and single-case agreement negotiations.

• Educate care sites about patient assistance programs.

• Act as the field expert on market access issues related to Trade Policy.

• Collaborate with payer relations teams at care sites to address coverage and reimbursement challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; healthcare degrees or credentials are preferred.

• Proven, extensive experience with national and regional payers that manage medical and pharmacy benefit policies.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with reimbursement methodologies and dynamics for both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as their impact on hospital access economics.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the biotech/pharma industry is required.

• At least five years of direct experience in the coverage and reimbursement intricacies of complex advanced therapies, including cell therapy, gene therapy, or radioligand therapy.

• Preferred experience with cell and gene therapy networks and Medical Director teams at payers managing Cell Therapy products.

• Preferred strong presentation skills and executive presence.

• Exceptional business acumen and expertise in hospital administration are preferred.

• Preferred experience in Cell, Gene, and Stem Cell Transplant service lines, along with established relationships with financial Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) at institutions.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining cross-functional internal relationships and contributing to site-of-care account planning is preferred.

• Preferred experience with pharmacy/therapeutics committees and high-impact drug review processes at healthcare institutions.
