This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various multimedia projects, such as webinars, podcasts, videos, social media content, and innovative formats.
• Create workflows, set timelines, and determine deliverables while managing projects from initial concept to final completion.
• Effectively handle multiple projects and competing priorities, communicating updates, challenges, and deadlines as needed.
• Suggest new content formats, platforms, and production methods based on audience preferences and emerging trends.
• Gather and evaluate audience feedback, demographics, engagement metrics, and content performance data.
• Monitor new digital trends, platforms, and technologies, providing insightful recommendations.
• Oversee the complete production process of the Vasculitis Foundation's webinar program.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical specialists, patient advocates, and subject matter experts.
• Manage webinar platforms and production tools effectively.
• Produce and edit comprehensive educational recordings, short-form videos, and social media content.
• Develop and manage the podcast program, encompassing format development, guest coordination, recording, editing, publishing, and promotion.
• Modify existing content for various platforms and audience segments.
• Keep organized digital asset libraries and ensure that content is archived and easily accessible.
• Coordinate with freelance videographers and external vendors, providing support for in-person event coverage.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications, Development, Education, and other teams to create multimedia content.
• Offer guidance to colleagues on platforms, formats, production methods, and audience engagement strategies.
• Assist with campaign videos, awareness content, educational resources for patients and clinicians, donor communications, and other multimedia initiatives.
• Manage photography and visual asset requirements, including headshots, event photography, and conference coverage.
• Foster positive working relationships across teams and with external partners, ensuring projects remain on track and on schedule.
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Film/Video Production, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in multimedia production, including webinars, podcasts, video, or other digital content.
• Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows.
• Experience using webinar platforms and production tools such as Zoom Webinars, Riverside, StreamYard, or comparable systems.
• Working knowledge of major social media platforms and the ability to adapt content for diverse audiences and channels.
• A portfolio or work samples that showcase a variety of multimedia production capabilities.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in building relationships with colleagues, physicians, patients, vendors, and external partners.
• Proven experience coordinating with or managing external vendors, including videographers, editors, or other creative professionals.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to leverage data to inform content strategy.
• Understanding of AI tools related to content creation and a willingness to adapt to their evolving role in multimedia production.
• Availability to travel for VF events, patient conferences, and related activities approximately 3–5 times per year, including occasional international travel.
• A commitment to equity, inclusion, accessibility, and creating representative content.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote environment.
• Strongly preferred: experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, medical education, or content aimed at clinical audiences.
• Strongly preferred: photography skills and experience in managing visual assets.
• Strongly preferred: familiarity with project management platforms and CRM/database tools like Salesforce.
• Strongly preferred: experience in multimedia production within nonprofit or healthcare settings.
