Multilingual Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver tailored English language development (ELD) instruction that corresponds with students' language proficiency levels.

• Work in partnership with classroom teachers to assist English learners (ELs) in engaging with the grade-level curriculum.

• Track and document the progress of language development.

• Maintain regular communication with families, utilizing appropriate language supports.

• Engage in the processes of EL identification, placement, and reclassification.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid teaching certificate with the necessary ESL, ELL, or bilingual endorsement as mandated by Washington state.

• Preferred experience in working with students from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds.

• Residency in Washington state is required.
