Multilingual Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct English language development (ELD) instruction tailored to the language proficiency levels of students.

• Work in partnership with classroom teachers to assist English learners in engaging with the grade-level curriculum.

• Track and document the progress of language development.

• Maintain regular communication with families, utilizing suitable language supports.

• Engage in the processes of identifying, placing, and reclassifying English learners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid teaching certificate with the necessary ESL, ELL, or bilingual endorsement as mandated by Washington state.

• Residency in Washington state.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

• Previous experience with linguistically and culturally diverse students is preferred.
