This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Review, annotate, and assess outpatient clinical documentation for precision, completeness, and clinical integrity.

• Examine outpatient clinical notes, encounter summaries, and electronic health record (EHR) documentation.

• Determine if notes accurately represent what a practicing primary care physician would reasonably document.

• Identify any missing, unsupported, fabricated, inaccurate, incomplete, or clinically unsuitable content.

• Assess clinical reasoning, documentation quality, representation of patient encounters, and potential issues related to patient safety.

• Annotate outpatient encounter data in accordance with detailed project guidelines.

• Classify documentation issues and clinical discrepancies.

• Deliver structured, concise, and actionable written feedback.

• Utilize expertise in primary care, family medicine, or general internal medicine to evaluate realistic outpatient cases.

• Review multilingual healthcare documentation for linguistic accuracy and clinical significance.

• Offer expert insights on annotation guidelines and standards for clinical documentation.

• Identify unclear instructions and edge cases while contributing to quality standards.

• Relay findings to technical and product stakeholders.


⛳️ Requirements

• MD degree.

• Over 2 years of post-residency experience.

• Currently practicing in primary care, family medicine, or general internal medicine.

• Based in the United States.

• Direct, current or recent experience in writing outpatient clinical notes.

• Advanced command of English.

• C1-level or higher proficiency in speaking, listening, and writing in at least one additional language: Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Tagalog, Russian, Haitian Creole, Korean, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish, Japanese, Turkish, Italian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Finnish, French, Danish, Catalan, Hungarian, Czech, German, Bulgarian, Indonesian, or Dutch.

• Minimum availability of 10 hours per week.

• Familiarity with Epic is a plus.

• Experience in clinical documentation quality review, note auditing, or Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) is preferred.

• Previous experience in clinical annotation or model evaluation is advantageous.

• Experience documenting patient care in a language other than English is preferred.

• Must not disclose confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, healthcare organization, institution, patient, or other third party.

• H1-B and STEM OPT sponsorship is not available.
