This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage cases independently from intake to resolution.
• Formulate and implement legal strategies informed by factual investigation and legal analysis.
• Maintain meaningful communication with courts, administrative agencies, clients, financial institutions, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, agreements, and security instruments.
• Attend hearings and trials as required.
• Travel for in-person hearings, firm trainings, meetings, and other firm-sponsored activities.
• Collaborate with paralegals, centralized operations staff, and a remote legal team.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active licensure in two or more of the following states: IN, NC, SC, TN, or VA.
• Other active licensures will also be taken into account.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy abilities.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a remote team.
• High degree of organization, time management, and personal accountability.
• Persistent, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Confidence in taking ownership of outcomes from beginning to end.
• Willingness to travel for in-person hearings, firm trainings, meetings, and other firm-sponsored events.
• Proficient in Mac/Apple operating systems.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experienced with Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with timekeeping and case management software.
• Proficient in legal research applications.
• A cover letter, resume, and at least three professional references are required for application.
