Multi-domain Control Model Integrator Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the development of frameworks and proprietary software for the analysis of electrified propulsion technologies.

• Conduct physics-based modeling to create highly complex models.

• Incorporate basic or advanced control logics that dictate the physical behavior of the models into the frameworks and proprietary software.

• Develop pre- and post-processing tools.

• Offer support to resolve issues related to the utilization of the frameworks and proprietary software.

• Present findings through oral presentations and detailed reports to Chief Engineers, Centers of Excellence (COEs), component engineers, and powertrain managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Automotive).

• Prior experience in the automotive industry.

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

• Comprehensive understanding of vehicle propulsion systems, including internal combustion engines, transmissions, axles, drivelines, batteries, and electric motors.

• Strong expertise in hybrid and electrified control strategies as well as energy management optimization.

• Familiarity with Torque Path strategies for hybrid and electrified propulsion systems.

• Understanding of ECMS (Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy) for energy management.

• Advanced proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, and GT-Suite.

• Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams.

• Preferred: knowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer.

• Preferred: experience with production controls.

• Preferred: experience with Git for code versioning and collaborative workflows.

• Preferred: experience with vehicle testing or data analysis.
